My mom has the absolute best recipe for scones, courtesy of Betty Crocker's International Cookbook. I just realized this recipe is also in my copy of that book from 9 years later; this is a very dangerous realization. They're rich, moist, and impossible to stop eating. The cranberries we added to this batch added just the right amount of bite & sweetness. We made a double batch and they were gone in less than 3 days.
